The classic 1996 vintage will go down as one of the most delicate and impressive Margaux ever produced. Cabernet Sauvignon is rarely so delicious and reached a considerable degree of balance. Even more surprising is that, such a young wine is already full-bodied, fruity and complex but impressive & elegant to any wine lover.
Region: Médoc, Bordeaux, France
There are only 10,800 cases of the 2003 Latour. A prodigious effort, it boasts a saturated purple color as well as a gorgeous perfume of smoke, cedar, creme de cassis, flowers, crushed rocks, and blackberries. Massive and multi-layered, with huge richness and low acidity, it is about as unctuous as a young Latour can be.
Region: Médoc, Bordeaux, France
Dark red with liqueur-like aromas of plum, mocha, tobacco, truffle and oak. Lush and smooth, with explosive fruit. Massive but not at all heavy. Wonderfully tactile wine, finishing with big, chewy-but-ripe tannins and great persistence. Drink during your lifetime.
Region: Médoc, Bordeaux, France
This wine exhibits a thick-looking ruby to purple color, and a knock-out nose of lead pencil, minerals, flowers, and black currant scents. Extremely powerful and full-bodied, with remarkable complexity for such a young wine. This huge Lafite is oozing with extract and richness, yet has managed to preserve its quintessentially elegant personality.
Region: Médoc, Bordeaux, France
This is a good full bodied wine with dark red-ruby color. This wine offers up an extraordinary nose of caramelized herbs, smoke, cedar, redcurrant, orange peel and coconut. And a very subtle and very long, firmly tannic finish. One of the great Lafite of all time. Don't miss it if you are a wine lover.
